To update you on the Saturday potluck, I want to tell you that it was really a wonderful and memorable event. Attendants included Ling Jing and her daughter Adrianna, our new conductor Christine Liu, her husband Frank Liu, and his son assistant conductor Milton Liu, and many new and old members.

After the dinner, we gathered at the living room and we presented a plaque to our new artistic advisor Ling Jing to thank her for her contributions and dedications during the past years. This plaque was originally ordered by me, but was later modified and picked up by Stella and she also attached a 4x6 group picture to the plaque.

Then I received a plaque from Greg and Lieh Tang. This is a very beautiful plaque designed and paid for by Greg personally. It says "In recognition of our president Mr. Chau-in Huang for his outstanding leadership and contributions to the Dallas SeaSky Choir, from all members, May 28, 2005". It was ordered by Stella. Although I don't deserve such a nice plaque, but I really appreciate the thoughtfulness and efforts of Greg, and my deep thanks to Stella, Lieh Tang, and to all of you for your kindness.  A large group picture (8x12) was also presented to me and Ling Jing. These pictures were developed by Greg/Stella. This is the best group picture of SeaSky Choir and I think every member should have a copy of it. Since some of you missed the potluck, I will bring the plaque and picture to the rehearsal room on June 4.

After that we had a music program presented by Liu's family. Our conductor sang a song accompanied by Milton, then Milton played the piano, followed by Milton and his father Frank presented a joint performance in which Frank played the guitar and Milton played the violin. It was a lovely music program and we thoroughly enjoyed.

Next came a self introduction by our conductor Christine, assistant conductor Milton and his father Frank. This was followed by the self introduction of new members. The program ended at 10 PM but many members stayed until 11 PM.

I request section leaders to call those who do not use email. I am also attempting to send this mail to new members, but it is best if you can personally contact your friends.

Looking forward to see you on Saturday!
